  • The biggest school in Kansas is the University of Kansas (KU) in Lawrence. Its student population is about 27,000. Other campuses for KU are in Kansas City (medical school only), Overland Park and Topeka.
  • The second largest enrollment among Kansas colleges and universities is at Kansas State University (KSU). KSU teaches about 23,500 students annually. Its main campuses are in Manhattan and Salina, plus Manhattan has a veterinary school.
